About Leah...

I have been a bilingual social worker for over 10 years, and the longer I have worked with people, the more passionate I have become about the work that I do.  I am energized by walking alongside people as they work to be their best selves, and as they find hope they may have lost sight of due to their individual life circumstances.

I am bilingual in English and Spanish and am sensitive to the unique challenges that immigrants in our community face.  I strive for an attitude of cultural humility anytime I work with someone with a different background than my own, integrating the knowledge I have from my own experience and trainings while also being open to learning the about the unique strengths, traditions, customs, and challenges of the client sitting with me.  I am passionate about working with people and I am constantly learning.  I believe that you are the expert in your life and that my job is to join you on your journey and add my education, experience and expertise to help you reach your goals.
