I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. I believe in meeting you where you are and partnering with you to help determine the best approach towards meeting your individual goals. I can help address issues such as depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, grief, trauma, domestic violence concerns, life changes, immigration-related stressors, or processing everyday stress.

Society tells us that becoming a parent should be the happiest time of our life. And in many ways, it can be. What we don't hear as often are the more complex emotions that come with creating a family. Whether it's infertility struggles, or miscarriages, or differences in dreams between you and a partner, or adjusting to life as a new parent, or grief that comes with loss of a previous identity, or the onset of significant mental health struggles during or after a pregnancy - it can be a lot to bear alone. Soon after becoming a mom myself, I knew I wanted to get more training to specialize in this work. I have completed the basic and advanced trainings and received certification through Perinatal Support International. I am honored to continue supporting hopeful, expectant, and new parents on their journeys.

I have experience working with children/adolescents of all ages to address issues including anxiety, trauma, abuse, anger, depression, self-harming behaviors, behavioral concerns, low self-esteem, identity exploration, grief, family or life changes, and parent separation. At this time I am focusing my practice to work with teens ages 12 an up.

Family therapy can work to improve communication among family members; increase positive attachment following a trauma, loss, or other life changes; and work towards creating better unity and harmony in the family, whether in a biological, foster, or adoptive family. Family therapy may be used as the sole modality or in addition to individual therapy.

I have worked with and supported many clients going through various immigration processes. Sometimes, it can be helpful for the immigration case to have a therapist support letter and/or full psychosocial evaluation. These documents may help supplement applications for U-Visa, T-Visa, Asylum, VAWA, and Hardship Waivers (I-601 and I-601A).

For clients working with me for therapy, I can provide a therapist support letter with a summary of our treatment, symptoms, and progress.

I also offer comprehensive psychosocial evaluations to support immigration cases. These consist of 1-2 meetings with me (typically a total of 3-4 hours), administering of questionnaires and assessments, coordination with your immigration attorney, and a full, comprehensive written report provided to you and your immigration attorney. The total cost for this process is $800, or $1000 in the case of an expedited timeline.
